Kate has just graduated for the university and is ready to enter the work force. After a job search she finds herself an entry-level position at the local supermarket. Not the most glamorous of occupations but she knows if she put in the extra effort she can work her way up to a management position in no time flat.
The object of the game is simple enough; keep the customers happy and the money will continue to flow in. This is accomplished by keeping the shelves stocked, working the register, helping the customers find an item on one of the shelves and return the empty shopping carts to the front of the store ready for the new customers to arrive.
With each round of play you must earn a preset amount of sales and points are awarded for doing so quickly with highest amount of customer satisfaction. With these points earned you are able to make upgrades to the store like larger shelves, more carts, or a gumball machine. It is not required to spend all of your points after each round but can instead save up for more expensive upgrades like hiring a new employee or the ability to move faster of stock the shelves more quickly.
There is something new added with each round of play, like a deli where you must serve the customer by giving them just the right deli item this is done by moving your cursor over a choice of items, when you are in the right spot they will indicate that’s what they want by nodding or smiling.
Supermarket Management starts you off at a fast pace and with every round of play becomes increasingly faster so choose your upgrades carefully to compensate for this.
To be busy at all times is your key to success; in fact you will lose points for being idle. You are able stack your tasks up in order by just clicking on the item or area that needs to be taken care of first. Supermarket Management require 100% focus and a keen eye to stay ahead of the customers, and prove that you are indeed –management material.
