Arriving this fall 2009, is the well anticipated: VTech Bugsby reading system. This state of the art reading system, which is in all reality a talking book, included with it is an electronic stylus. All one has to do is point and touch a particular word or picture in the book and it is read aloud for the young reader by the device.
This particular reading system is another addition to three others systems that all employ dotted media technology developed by Poingo Publications International along with Tag and Tag Junior available from the Leapfrog Corporation. This is the technology that allows the stylus when placed over a particular word to sound it out by de-coding the printed symbols.
The books are only able to work properly with one of the above mentioned stylus. For the price of $30 you will get the stylus and one of the books. Any additional books that will work with the stylus will cost you an additional $13.
You’ll want to start by getting whatever book you have synched with Bugsby. This process is often different than with other systems. You start by installing the batteries and then place the ROM driver, which is of thumb-size and is located in the back cover of the book to be used into the Bugsby unit. It must be remembered that if this cartridge is missing the system won’t function.
Once the simple installation is completed and the system is turned on, which will likely require the help of an adult, the young participant is free to read along with the help of the stylus as it can be dragged along the sentences and the audible narration is heard aloud. The young reader may choose to only pick out particular words if that’s what they want to do.
There are more options of reading material for the young reader like; Wow Wow Wubbzy, Olivia, Dora the Explorer and many more. There is an optional soundtrack that plays along with the narration but that can be muted the reader prefers. Bugsby is due to hit stores this Fall season 2009.

In this game of puzzle fun, you meander about the maze which is on Wonder Island and in the gated cit of Wonder Falls. As you explore the city, you meet many different characters along the way who are very friendly and are eager to meet new arrival to their paradise.
You quickly discover that all is not perfect in Wonderland as a storm is shooting fire from the sky and all the inhabitants are in a panic and not sure what to do. You then encounter the wise Morklin who is well aware of what is going on and fills you in.
As the city is in a state of mild chaos, you are asked if you would like to help find out what is causing fire shooting from the sky. Once you able to unlock the gate to the city and exit along with your guide Morklin, you navigate your way through the maze in search of the source of the problem.

A game of dress-up and dress-down where teams are formed and identical articles of clothing are given to each team.
1. Two teams are formed with an equal number of players on each side. More than two teams can be formed is there is an excessive number of players. Single file lines are formed by each team and 3 pieces of clothing are given to the first player of each line.
2. These articles of clothing can be a jacket, a hat or maybe gloves but each team must receive the same articles to make it fair. Once the signal to start is given, the starting player of each team will put these clothes on as quickly as possible.
3. When a player has put the clothes on over their clothes, they say; “Ready” and take them off as quickly as they can and pass them to the next player on their team to do the same thing.
4. If all the players on your team can dress and un-dress faster than the other teams, you are the winner.
This is a game of color identification where young players will touch the clothes of another player if that is the color that has been announced.
1. The person leading the game is chosen and better that it is an adult if the players are of a young age. The participants in the group form a circle standing only a few inches apart and the leader will stand in the center of the circle.
2. Shoes are removed by the participants so they are standing in their socks and the leader of the game will begin by calling out a color, then either a foot or a hand is specified and whether it is either right or left.
3. Each player in the game will touch the announced color with either his right or left hand or foot of his neighbor depending on the instructions given. This is done without leaving their position in the circle.
4. New commands will continue to be given, for example; “left hand Red” The game will continue until the circle falls apart by the players falling down by trying to reach the color of clothing on the other players. With a new round of play, a new leader is chosen.
“Treasure Hunt” is a game that is fun to play at parties, especially for young children.
1. Colorful paper is used to wrap up party favors to be used in place of treasure. This should be done by an adult and two to three of these little packages will be made for each player.
2. While all the participants in the game have gathered in one room, the small packages will be hidden by an adult without anyone else knowing the location of the treasure.

A fun game taken from the timeless activity of blowing bubbles, only this time it is played as a team sport and scores are kept.
1. Two equally numbered teams of players are formed. A wand made of wire and a cup of soapy water is given to the first team and they are then assigned the task of blowing bubbles.
2. These bubble blowers form a circle while the players of the second team stand in the circle and hunt the bubbles.
3. A signal is given for every one to begin their tasks and players on the outside of the circle make the bubbles, while the players on the inside pop them.
4. The team that is making the bubbles keeps score aloud of all the ones that touch the floor and pop before being popped by the other team. When a certain number has been reached, the two teams exchange tasks and the game continues.

1. A circle is formed, and is made up of all the players in the game. Play begins when one participants is chosen to go first.
2. Using only her fingertips, the player beginning the game starts by turning to her right and begins to tickle the closest player anywhere on his body she wishes for a period of 5 seconds to try to make him laugh.
3. As the first player is tickling the player to her right, she chants; “tickle” “tickle” ‘tickle.” Both players involved in this tickle exchange are forbidden to laugh for this period of 5 seconds.
4. Should both players manage to refrain from laughing during this exchange then the previous player being tickled becomes the tickler and the player to the right becomes the tickled and a new round begins.
